North East India Tour, 8 days (+/-)

India’s North East is a land of undulating hills and plains with luxuriant green cover and a wide variety of rare and exotic flora and fauna. The Bramhaputra valley with its tropical climate is a fertile plain on the basin of one of the largest rivers of the world. The hilly terrain of the region starts from Nagaland state in the east to the Meghalaya in the west, the Mizoram lies in the south while in the north lies the Arunachal Pradesh extending to the snow-clad ridges of the great Himalayas. The North-East India region is widely known as ‘7 Sisters’ comprising the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura and Mizoram. Sikkim, being cut-off by the lands of West Bengal could also be considered a similar region with the same geographical features as that of 7 sisters’.
